The Children's Museum, Seattle

Families with younger children will love the vast playground of The Children’s Museum. Discover how kids live in other cultures in the global village or learn about the Pacific Northwest while playing on the huge woodland setting complete with waterfall. Rush to a fire on a child-sized fire engine in the neighborhood. Don’t miss the Imagination Station, where you can explore different art mediums; Discovery Bay for toddlers; Mindscape Technology Studio; and the giant Cog City game.

The fun, interactive learning experience at the Children's Museum challenges visitors to work in teams, manipulate objects, role play, problem solve, and develop eye-hand coordination—but kids will think they’re just having fun. Located at the Seattle Center, the Childrens Museum is a member of the Association of Children's Museums and features eight permanent galleries, one temporary gallery, and three studio spaces.
